Our client, TS Fasteners Australia, is an Australian manufacturer and supplier of high-quality custom-made fasteners and special bolts since 1959. In 2018, TSI Fasteners Australia approached Allset Energy to explore their options to reduce their carbon footprint and electricity costs by making the transition to renewable energy. Unlike other options they explored, Allset Energy right-sized the solar PV solution to their energy needs and solar goals. The system optimisation considered a gamut of parameters, including load profile, feed-in-tariff constraints and export limitations to design a 36.4kW solar photovoltaic (PV) system.
In its first year, the system generated bill savings of 83.7% compared to pre-solar expenses and continues to deliver significant financial environmental and operational benefits long after the system has paid for itself. TSI Fasteners Australia is since generating an income from the solar investment made according to Berthold Berens, Owner and Managing Director at the time. Mr Berens went on to say that Allset Energy “went over and above to understand how to maximise my benefits and have provided ongoing customer support service, giving me comfort in knowing that I have chosen the right provider”.
Berthold Berens, Managing Director, TS Fasteners Australia
Allset Energy has actually turned my energy bills into credits, whereby my company now generates an income from the solar panels. They designed a system that maximised both the sun’s energy uptake and the feed-in tariffs. They went over and above to understand how to maximise my benefits and have provided great ongoing customer service giving me comfort in knowing that I have chosen the right provider.Dandenong South, Victoria
